Where we are and who we see
Serving Klamath Falls, Altamont and the Basin
We are at 3956 S. 6th St, Klamath Falls, OR 97603, on the Altamont stretch of South 6th Street. That is Oregon Route 39, the main road through this side of town, so most people passing through the basin drive by us without realising it.
Plenty of our customers are not from Klamath Falls proper. If you are driving in from one of the outlying communities, here is what is worth knowing before you make the trip.
Getting Here
Oregon Route 39
Coming up 39 from Merrill and Malin
South 6th Street is Oregon Route 39, so if you are driving in from Merrill or Malin you are already on the road that goes past our door. Merrill is roughly 12 miles out. You do not turn off the highway to reach us.
Merrill, Malin, Midland, Henley
Oregon Route 140
In from the east or west on 140
Highway 140 runs along the south edge of Altamont and meets 6th Street close to the shop. If you are coming from the east it is a straight run in. Keno is about nine miles west on Highway 66.
Olene, Dairy, Bly, Lakeview side, Keno
US Highway 97
Down 97 from Chiloquin and the north
Chiloquin is roughly 35 miles north. If you are making that drive anyway, it is worth calling first so we can have the bay ready rather than having you wait.
Chiloquin, Modoc Point, Fort Klamath
Oregon Route 70
Over from Bonanza and Dairy
Highway 70 connects Dairy and Bonanza across to the 140 corridor. It is a longer run, so the after-hours key drop is often the easier option if you are working during our hours.
Bonanza, Dairy, Sprague River
If You Are Driving A Distance
- Call first. We book by phone, and a five minute call means we know what is coming and you are not sitting in the waiting room while we find a bay.
- Use the after-hours key drop if our hours do not work with your drive. Leave the keys, and we will call you in the morning.
- The waiting area has WiFi and coffee if you would rather stay than make the trip twice. Most repairs, including oil changes and brakes, are done the same day.
- If you are heading out on a long run on 97 or 140 afterwards, say so. Cooling, brakes and tires are the three things worth checking before those drives, and the leak inspection is free.
Every repair carries a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty honored at any NAPA Car Care shop nationwide, which matters more when you put real miles on a vehicle.
Not sure whether the trip is worth it? Call and describe the problem.
